Comprehensive Psychological Assessment Services

  • Diagnostic evaluations are especially helpful for individuals who have a history of mental health treatment and are not experiencing symptom relief from their current treatment. A psychological evaluation can help clarify your diagnosis and supply your treatment providers with personalized, evidence-based treatment recommendations based on the evaluation findings.

  • AD/HD and Autism can be challenging disorders to diagnose during adulthood, and studies show that they are routinely under-and mis-diagnosed in women and girls. Unfortunately, many professionals are not aware of these nuances and take an outdated assessment approach filled with lengthy, expensive neuropsychological tests - despite research showing these measures are not empirically supported for evaluation of autism or adult AD/HD. You deserve to have a professional who is trained in the nuances of how autism and AD/HD presents in adult women so that your evaluation is accurate, helpful, and personalized.

  • I also provide consultations and psychological evaluations per ASRM guidelines for individuals using donor gametes/embryos or a gestational carrier while engaging in assisted reproductive technology (ART) intervention. Please click here for more information.

FAQs

  • I offer a variety of virtual psychological assessments. The assessment process typically includes a 90 minute to 2-hour intake and a subsequent testing session involving completion of a variety of psychological assessment measures. Depending on the reason you are pursuing assessment, some of the measures are completed together during our testing session and others will be sent to your email via a secure link for you to complete on your own. Upon completion of the tests, we will meet to discuss the results and recommendations, and you will be supplied with a comprehensive report written by me that integrates all of the information from the intake and assessment findings.

  • I complete all of my assessments virtually. Not only is this more convenient for you, but it also allows me to provide this service to anyone residing in one of the over 40 PSYPACT participating states.

  • The time commitment on the part of the client tends to range between 4-6 hours, depending on the type of assessment. On average, you will receive a copy of your comprehensive report within two weeks from completion of the final assessment measure.

  • You can use your out-of-network provider benefits and I can supply you with a superbill to use to file for reimbursement. Please see the Investments and FAQs Section for more information on out-of-network benefits and using superbills.
